Reporting Fraud

If you become a victim of identity theft, Chemical Bank suggests taking these steps to report it:

  1. If you think you are a victim of identity theft, you are concerned someone may have access to your log-in credentials or banking information or if you received an unusual call, text or email, immediately notify Chemical Bank's Customer Care Center at (800) 867-9757 and forward any screenshots to SecurityCenter@ChemicalBank.com. We will help guide you through the necessary steps to protect your accounts and personal information.
  2. File a report of identity theft  and unauthorized movement of your money with your local law enforcement.
  3. You should also contact one of the following credit bureaus below to report the incident, and ask to have a fraud alert placed on your file:

Chemical Bank will never send emails requesting customers to disclose or "verify" personal information about their accounts. If you receive a suspicious email, please send it to SecurityCenter@ChemicalBank.com. If you receive a suspicious phone call, or suspect that fraudulent activity is affecting your account, please contact our Customer Care Center at (800) 867.9757.
